Italy has decided to open its borders after more than 1 year of closure due to the pandemic.
Italian authorities have stated that the tourist season opens on May 15, and anyone from all over the world can go to Italy.
For this, a specific transit permit that precedes the European Union health license that is expected to be available at the end of June 2021 will suffice.
The news was published by Prime Minister Mario Draghi, during the proceedings of the G20 summit, which took place the day before in Rome.
“Our cities, our beaches and mountains will be opened and we welcome you,” said the head of the Italian executive.
We hope that the opening will be without obstacles for all citizens
